My interests are wide. I enjoy things like motorcycle riding, bike riding, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, martial arts, photography, writing, philosophy, debate, discussion, seeing relationships, and art.

Drawing is something I’ve always been able to do. Admittedly I could and should do more with it than I do. I’ve let it get rusty.

Photography is what I almost chose as my career. I decided not to do it, simply because I didn’t know if I would like it as a career. Thankfully I get to continue to grow as a photographer in my current role as Creative Director. Here is a link to my Flickr site: Photos

As for martial arts, my preference is a little known family of South East Asian martial art known as Pencak Silat. Here is also a link to my blog about the style I teach: Pencak Silat Pertempuran.

My current professional title is Creative Director. This fits me pretty well. I still have a lot to learn and areas to grow in creatively. I’ve focused largely on Brand Development and Brand management in my current role. I grew into this position out of a Graphic Design background that has both web and print aspects. I consider myself a Christian. Undoubtedly, many would wonder about that. I have gone through many changes in the past seven years or so, from embracing all of Evangelical Christianity to questioning all of it. I’m still sorting through it. This blog will attest to that fact. This doesn’t mean that I think there is something better out there. I don’t. I’ve looked at Islam, Judaism, Taoism, Buddhism, etc. and I haven’t found what is missing. I’m not sure where it will land but that’s where I am.

That’s enough narcissism for the time being.
